Project: Jaguar Land Rover – PHEV Distance Calculator & Order Tracking Role: Senior UX Consultant 

Challenge: To design a PHEV distance calculator that effectively managed customer expectations around range variability (e.g., driving style, pre-conditioning). The goal was to prevent post-sale disappointment by educating a sophisticated audience through honest data visualisation, while adhering strictly to the brand's premium aesthetic and technical constraints. 

Approach: I triangulated insights from competitor research, technical interviews with JLR engineers, and web analytics to inform the design. I then designed and optimised three distinct interface options, ensuring seamless integration with Spark44’s existing deployment frameworks. 

Outcome: Delivered a beautiful, clear and compelling calculator that balanced technical accuracy with optimistic brand messaging, alongside a proposed order tracking flow designed to be both feasible and future-facing. (Note: Samples redacted for confidentiality.)
